And this timeline continues to disappoint…

If you know me, you know I am crazy for baseball and the Yankees in particular. Brian Cashman put the best team we’ve had in years on the field and what.a.season! It was incredible. The future looked so bright and a ring legitimately within reach

But in the truest sense of The Rivalry, the Red Sox just had to be just as good and with a much better rookie manager at the helm. The Red Sox motto for Post Season was “Do Damage.” They definitely did lasting psychological damage to Yankees fans around the world in the 16-1 rout in Game 3 (I was there. It was awful.).  And then going for the jugular in Game 4. Despite Craig Kimbrel’s attempts to allow the Yankees to tie the game in the 9th, we lost.

It’s like reliving the 2016 election all over again.

It hurt. I guess I have to root for Houston now. This also hurts.

See you in London, Sox.
