The years seem to pass more quickly than ever. How is it 2015 already? 2014 was a whirldwind of a year for me. Starting off in the Philippines volunteering and then traveling through SE Asia…getting dengue and ending up in a hospital for 6 days in Kuala Lumpur (I’ll tell you about it over drinks one day). Then coming home to New York and extending my sabatical to explore some personal projects before jumping back into work in May.
Taking a long break was more important than I thought it would be. Sometimes we need to take the time to reset and reprioritize the things we have in our lives. I highly recommend that everyone do this at some point in their career. We get so caught up in the every day that it’s easy to lose focus on the bigger picture of life and the things that really matter in the end.
And then I kicked off 2015 with one of the best shows I’ve worked on, Storytellers: Ed Sheeran Live in Dublin! What an experience! An amazing show with amazing people.
And the Seahawks are going back to the Super Bowl!
If this is what 2015 is looking like 1 month in, I think it’s going to be an epic year and I’m looking forward to every minute of it. I hope your new year is equally thrilling.
